Stories of My Father

Tregay is Divinely Guided vis-à-vis a verified Theophanous experience that happened on May 24, 1981; he became a “Receiver of the Message” of Divine Purpose. A ‘Theophany Receiver’ is Divinely Guided all his life but usually not fully conscious of it until the years pass and enlightenment and the wisdom earned from experience make the man ‘see’ like a prophet. As a boy, Tregay studied his beloved father intensely, but that love could ever be reciprocal; it could not be nor needed to be. Just seeing/watching ‘the man’ was a Divine Gift.
If fortunate enough, Divinely Guided men learn that their mentors are, first of all, Teachers, but the best are much more. They are Teachers by unconscious natural example that reveals what they are, not by word but by deed. Of all men, Tregay’s father had the greatest influence on him; he was a giant, a champion athlete, a courageous warrior for right, and by far, a supreme protector.
This collection of true stories enlightens about the power and significance that his father’s masculine-heroic life had on Tregay, and should have on everyone. It does not, however, enlighten about the ‘higher’ altruistic and Divine Purpose.
When his father aged and weakened as all men do, Tregay observed the physical and spiritual changes; the rot of decay. He observed the reasons for that change, from savior-protector to effeminate selfish coward. The purpose of this book is to warn what can happen to anyone when a life of heroic adventure and love of idealism is lost and replaced by materialism, false values, and fear.
Tregay is the author of The Lost Gospel of Jesus of Nazareth (l985), The Miracles of Jesus for the Intellectual (1986) Theocratic Theory (l990), and The Original Meaning of the Resurrection (1987).
